William D.

One day, at the first day of 2nd grade, the teacher made an activity to make the students know each other. They had to say their father's job, and what he'd give the class. Sally went and said, "My father is a baker, b-a-k-e-r and if he were here he'd give us a cookie." Billy went and said, "My father is a banker, b-a-n-k-e-r and if he were here he'd give us a shiny new penny." Jeff went and said, "My father is an accountant, a-k, no, a-c-k, no." The teacher skipped him and told Johnny to go and he said, "My father is a bookie, b-o-o-k-i-e and if he were here he'd give us 20:1 odds Jeff wouldn't be able to spell accountant."
