If your eyes follow the movement of the rotating pink dot, the dots will remain only one color, pink. However if you stare at the black " +" in the centre, the moving dot turns to green. Now, concentrate on the black " + " in the centre of the picture. After a short period, all the pink dots will slowly disappear, and you will only see only a single green dot rotating.
It's amazing how our brain works. There really is no green dot , and the pink ones really don't disappear. This should be proof enough, we don't always see what we think we see.

The way it works is that the light causes an kind of imprint on your eye, and when the pink dots fade a way, it leaves a trace, which looks like a green dot. like when you look at the sun and then blink. dont know how they dissapear, though...???
i just took a pic of that and you can't see one of the dots....................
This is really weird! But even when I'm not focusing on the black + in the center, the rotating pink dot turns to green. It's very strange. I wonder how our brain makes this happen? And everyone's saying their eyes hurt, but mine don't. I wonder why? And this is a very cool picture.

i don't know, i still see the pink dots all the time, but i see a wandering green one. is there something wrong with me, because this doesn't work on me the same like on everybody else?

that is so cool but it makes my eyes water but it is so cool! ouch my eyes still hurt no joke.
you can tell its fake by looking at the very top dot when it "turns green". you can see how it screwed up and cut off a bit. does it everytime. :]
