Some crimes prove to be hard for police to solve. Often they involve many man hours, forensic evidence and interviewing witnesses.
A burglary early Thursday morning in downtown Cincinnati however wasn't one of those crimes.
Cincinnati Police say they had to simply follow a trail of discarded candy wrappers to find four suspects suspected of burglarizing a candy store.
Police say Peter Minges and Sons candy store, at 132 West Court Street was burglarized just before 1:00 a.m. According to police, roughly $400 in candy was stolen from the store.
When police arrived, they quickly began following a trail of the wrappers until it led to the intersection of Fourth and Race Streets. There police found four suspects and placed them under arrest.
The suspects are two males, ages 18 and 22, and two females ages 18 and 19
