a) x=.767 meters b) It's a spring. It will push the weight back up the ramp. As the ramp is frictionless, it will return to the height of 5 m before it starts going down and hit the stupid spring again. Honestly, this question is not that hard.

hehe, the answer was easy: since it's a frictionless thing, no energy was lost, therefore it goes up exactly the same height it was originally i.e. the answer is 5m
