Sir Carl was promoted to the keeper of the bridge. He was doing very well, until Sir James arrived. Sir James was an amazingly strong knight with a powerful white steed and a long sharp sword. "I have come to cross the bridge and destroy the kingdome!" James exclaimed. Carl drew his sword. Not long after, Carl discovered James's mastery of swordfighting. James sliced off his left arm. Luckily, Carl was a righty. James chopped off Carl's leg. It was horribly uneasy to stand now. James easily took off Carl's remaining limbs in one *swish* of his fine sword. Carl, still living, let James cross the bridge. What was the point? He was unarmed and defeeted.
