Sam had lived and long and fruitful life. As he lay in his bed with the end very near he gathered his family around to utter his last few words. "Children, your mother and I have been married for 60 years, we've been through good times and bad. She has been a wonderful wife, why even now I can smell the delicious fragrances of her cooking in the kitchen. Sara my beautiful daughter, please go to the kitchen and bring me a piece of your mothers wonderful Strudel." In a few moments Sara returned to his bedside but had nothing in her hand. "Sara, why did you not bring your dying papa a piece of Strudel?" "Mama said you couldn't have any, it's for the funeral tomorrow."
